More Than a Motivational Speaker
Australian audiences know Libby Lombardo for her extraordinary personal story. Fewer know that behind it is one of the country’s most accomplished self-made property developers.
Teachers told Libby she’d never amount to anything — she was even voted “most likely to end up in jail.” She left school early and took a job as a nanny for the family of one of Australia’s richest men, Richard Pratt. On a private jet to New York, watching that world up close, something shifted. She picked up Rich Dad, Poor Dad — and her obsession with property began.
Books became her university. She devoured everything she could find on money and investing, and moved in circles filled with the BRW Top 200. Using little or no money down, she began trading development sites — and made her first million by 25.
Then, in her late twenties, she lost everything. A few critical financial mistakes wiped her out. With an elite group of mentors she rebuilt, making the right moves to come back stronger, with multi-million-dollar deals in play.
Today she has spent more than a decade buying, selling, developing and trading real estate, founded Leverage Property, and written the bestselling Millions and Billions in Property Development. Her mission now: show everyday Australians how to do the same — without the costly mistakes.
